Workshop Building Inclusive Machine Learning (ML) Systems In this workshop we will explore the factors that influence inclusivity and fairness in ML systems, how these impact currently widely used technologies and innovations (such as ChatGPT or Image recognition), what is required to build truly inclusive ML systems and ideate on how we can use the power of ML/AI to help foster true inclusivity. Machine learning (ML) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems influence our lives in many ways - from what we consume, watch, listen to, how content is generated or how businesses make their decisions from healthcare and education to finance. Given their widespread impact it is critical that those technologies consider inclusivity and fairness. Disregarding these factors can have a severe negative impact on everyday lives. On the other hand, when built with inclusivity in mind, AI technologies offer great potential to cater to the diverse needs of our society. What are you going to learn?
